How we work together

These terms apply to orders placed with Merch House, a trade name of the sole proprietorship registered under Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 88840174, VAT no. NL004661597B43, Antheunisstraat 148, 2522 ZJ Den Haag (no visiting address; pick-up by appointment only). Merch House supplies businesses and private customers.

Design and order

What you make in the designer on the site is what we print: the product, colour, position and size you choose. After you order via the site, we check your file within one working day and send you the confirmation with the price. If something needs adjusting, for example because your file is not print-ready, we first send you an adjusted design. The order is final once you approve the confirmation in writing (by email or the approval button) and, as a private customer, have paid the 50% deposit. Check your design carefully: what you approve is what we print. Spelling mistakes or a wrong colour in the approved design are at the customer's expense.

Prices and payment

For businesses we show prices excluding VAT; for private customers including 21% VAT. Businesses pay on invoice within 14 days after delivery; private customers pay a 50% deposit after approving the confirmation, by bank transfer or payment request, and the remainder on delivery or pick-up at the latest. Late payment incurs the Dutch statutory interest and collection costs. Pick-up in The Hague is free; shipping within the Netherlands costs € 6.95 excl. VAT per order (€ 8.41 incl. VAT). Volume discount: 5% from 25 pieces, 10% from 100.

Delivery

Delivery time is about 10 working days after you approve the confirmation and, for private customers, after receipt of the deposit; this is indicative. If we cannot make it, you will hear from us straight away and may cancel free of charge if the delay exceeds 10 working days. Risk passes on delivery or pick-up.

Made to order, withdrawal and warranty

Printed products are made especially for you. The statutory right of withdrawal for consumers therefore does not apply to printed items (art. 6:230p Dutch Civil Code). Your statutory warranty still applies: you are entitled to a product that conforms to the agreement. If the print or the product does not match the approved design, or the product is defective, report it as soon as possible with a photo; as a consumer you have at least two months after discovery to do so. We remake it or refund you. Normal wear, incorrect washing (washing instructions are on the site) or damage from use are not covered.

Your design and rights

You warrant that you have the right to have the supplied logo, photo or design printed, and you indemnify Merch House against third-party claims. We do not print protected brands, logos of clubs or characters without the rights holder's permission, nor discriminatory or hateful content, and may refuse an order for that reason. The design remains yours; we only use photos of the end product on our own site or social media with your consent.

Files and colours

We keep supplied files for up to one year for reorders, unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Colours on a screen always differ slightly from printed colours; small differences between the preview on your screen and the product are not a defect. The preview in the designer is a representation: fabric, folds and fit differ by size and manufacturer. Size and colour of blank garments may vary slightly per manufacturer.

Complaints and liability

Complaints: email info@merchhouse.nl or call 06 42 03 36 04; you get a response within 2 working days. Our liability is limited to the invoice amount of the order concerned, except in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part and where mandatory law provides otherwise. Delivered products remain our property until paid in full. In case of force majeure (for example a supplier or equipment failing) we may suspend or, in consultation, adjust delivery.
